I FEEL SAFE HERE: Artist Talk + Celebration

Free, family friendly artist talk and gathering to celebrate the opening of Clare Johnson‘s new Seattle Restored art installation, “I feel safe here”. Dress warmly—you’ll be outside, but under a large overhang that should keep us dry. Bring a warm beverage, look at the art, and hear a brief talk / Q&A with behind-the-scenes stories about the project. The window installation is based around work first made to decorate the fence around Lake Union Village, a tiny house village where people transition out of homelessness. Four large street-facing windows are filled with a mixture of the black-and-white original designs along with large new colored-in versions made specially for this.
