Siembra participated in Seattle Restored from July 2025 through February 2026. They have continued on to lease their own space at the Lake City commissary kitchen! Their space is not open to the public, but you can follow Siembra on Instagram to learn about their upcoming pop-ups and events.

About Siembra

Alex Dorros is a Seattle native on a mission to keep Seattle vibrant. Through his Colombian roots, he fell in love with Peruvian food while living and traveling in South America. Siembra was born out of bumps in the road. Due to the pandemic, Alex lost his job as a sous chef and server, and his mom Sandra had to hang up her hat as a Spanish teacher. It seemed natural to jump into the kitchen together and share comfort food with people they care about while representing Latinx culture in Seattle.

When they aren’t hosting pop-ups, Siembra also runs community kitchens for those facing food insecurity in Seattle.
