Wéidaaká Yóodóohaa’s “Neon Series” activation is a vibrant exploration of Tlingit culture, heritage, and contemporary themes through the lens of personal storytelling. His artistic practice blends traditional form line design with modern neon palettes and dynamic gradients, creating a visual dialogue between past and present. Yóodóohaa aims to honor his ancestral roots while pushing artistic boundaries, inviting viewers to connect with the deeper narratives woven into each piece.

With this series, he hopes to spark conversations around cultural identity, resilience, and our interconnectedness with both the natural and spiritual realms. Ultimately, his goal is to foster greater understanding, empathy, and appreciation for the beauty and wisdom of Indigenous art and traditions. Through these works, he strives to not only share his personal story, but also to create a space for reflection and dialogue that resonates deeply with a diverse audience.
