Artist Salon

June 4 @ 5:00 pm 7:00 pm

Join Shunpike for an evening of intimate dialogue and creative exchange with three visionary artists on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 5 PM at 117 South Main St, across from Occidental Square.

Rooted in education, architecture, and placemaking, this event uplifts diverse narratives that challenge, reimagine, and deepen our understanding of the spaces we inhabit—physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

Bill Pfiefer Jr. (Wéidaaká Yóodóohaa) bridges ancestral Tlingit formline design with neon contemporary aesthetics, inviting reflection on identity, resilience, and Indigenous wisdom.

ell lin offers tender visual storytelling through multimedia works that center Native Pacific Islander experience, ecological care, and the radical power of softness.

Parisa Ghaderi weaves photography, archives, and poetry to investigate silence, loss, and the evolving architecture of memory. Together, their practices spark meaningful conversations about how art can shape place, hold history, and open space for communal learning and transformation.

This event is supported by The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, and features artists from Seattle Restored, a program by Shunpike, Seattle Good Business Network, and the Office of Economic Development.
