Anh Ơi Bake Shop is a Vietnamese-American bake shop built on a simple idea: that food can reach back toward home even when home is hard to name. Their signature Vietnamese-American bakes have grown a quiet cult following, rooted in humble, classic flavors – mung bean, fried banana, Vietnamese coffee — taken seriously as memory, not novelty.

But Anh Ơi was never meant to be just one voice. Alongside their own bakes, they spotlight and celebrate small Asian-American bakers whose work deserves a wider table — bakers owner Vince knows personally, whose craft he can speak to honestly. The belief is that visibility is not a zero-sum thing: that lifting others up is how a community grows together, not apart.

Through Seattle Restored, Anh Ơi is building something more permanent than a pop-up — they are building a place where the third culture, the cross-cultural, and the quietly homesick can walk through a door and remember who they are.
