Tina Nguyễn

Thiên Thanh Nguyễn (Tina Nguyen) is a self taught artist raised in Seattle and born in Saigon, Vietnam. Having lived in over 22 homes at 22, she always found stability and solace through art. When Tina’s not creating, singing, or meditating, she is finishing up her studies in Informatics + International Studies at UW.

Tina is immensely excited to be on display here as she grew up across the street, staring into these same windows of now defunct storefronts. This is her first art exhibition of many as she hopes to inspire and uplift through her work. Taken from her high school AP Studio Art portfolio, “Serendipity: Moments of Creation” pays homage to Tina’s inner child, the same one that daydreamed across the street staring at these windows. Through digital media, acrylic, and clay, she shows us the world from her curious perspective. This is an invitation to honor your inner child through self-compassion, awareness, and reflection.
