A display of joyous, colorful, and unique art shine from the vast storefront windows of the 220 2nd Ave S building located in Pioneer Square. Seattlelites can easily notice the eye-catching designs from the sidewalks as they pass. The large, bold prints invite viewers to learn the design’s story and engage with the art through QR codes underneath each piece.

My small creative business, Stephanie Mai Designs, creates meaningful and engaging art centered around community and culture. As an artist, I aim to create art that incorporates elements of both my Vietnamese identity as well as my American upbringing. Much of SMD’s handcrafted art prints and stationery center around food. Food and art are mediums in which I continue to express my love for culture and heritage to my community and beyond.
