MEKA

MEKA is a Seattle-based slow fashion designer specializing in custom-made small lot collections and one-of-a-kind women’s wear. Owner, Mary Kelsay, has been in fashion for over 20 years starting out as a model and later transitioning to fashion show production and design, creating modern pieces inspired by her Unangax Heritage.

MEKA’s aesthetic is clean, classic, and timeless. MEKA is devoted to encouraging slow fashion with locally made garments and redesigns. Mary Kelsay is also a community activist using fashion as a platform to create space for her Indigenous community, spreading awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and our Two Spirit Relatives. MEKA’s latest collaborations are with In The Spirit at Washington History Museum, and The One Woman Symphony.
