Mama Row’s Caramel participated in Seattle Restored from July 2025 through February 2026. They continued on to lease their own space at the Lake City Kitchen through June 2026.
Mama Row’s Caramel is a Black-owned dessert company proudly popping up in Lake City through Seattle Restored.
Rooted in legacy and love, their brand honors Mama Row—Rachell Hudson—who taught her son to make caramel from scratch in 2001. After losing her to cancer in 2018, the Hudson family launched Mama Row’s Caramel to share her world-famous recipes and spread joy through nostalgic, handcrafted treats.
Mama Row’s Caramel specializes in rich, small-batch caramel sauce layered into cakes, brownies, cake pops, and frozen desserts. Each bite carries warmth, resilience, and a story worth savoring.
They’re thrilled to bring their award-winning sweets to the Lake City community and look forward to connecting with neighbors, families, and fellow small businesses.
Come taste the legacy!
