I’m excited to present three paintings from my upcoming collection “Homecoming” through Seattle Restored. This collection is a celebration of my love and connection with this break-taking region.

I’ve personally experienced the challenges of finding roots and building communities in an ever-changing world where mobility is the norm. I’d spent a lot of time traveling and living abroad, and when I first moved to Seattle I realized I’d found something special. In this collection, I explore the themes of home, commitment and belonging to a physical place, and the courage it’s taken me personally to put down roots. I invite the viewers to think about what the concept of place means to them, and what it means to be a member of a community.

The landscapes featured are based on photographs from my good friend, Nate Canada (@ncanada). Please contact info@carringtonmoorestudio.com for inquiries.
