Hiba Jameel’s Seattle Restored activation brings together her multidisciplinary artistic practice, which explores themes of identity, memory, and cultural resilience.

As an Arab American artist working across painting, photography, installation, and conceptual art, Jameel creates immersive experiences that challenge narratives and invite deep reflection. Her work has been influenced by artists like Wafaa Bilal and Anida Yoeu Ali. She strives to push boundaries by incorporating interactive elements that engage audiences on a personal level.

Through Seattle Restored, Jameel aims to connect with new communities, share stories that resonate across cultures, and expand her presence in the art world. Her long-term goal is to exhibit internationally, particularly in the Middle East, and to create work that sparks dialogue on migration, belonging, and transformation. Ultimately, she sees art as a tool for connection and change and hopes her Seattle Restored activation contributes to a more inclusive and thought-provoking artistic landscape.
