Vino & Vases: Ceramic hand-building for beginners in a laid back atmosphere

$65Learn beginner hand-building with Courtney Hunter from The Waight Ceramics.
In this class you will build a ceramic vase without using a potter’s wheel. You will learn coil and pinch techniques that have been used for centuries and create your very own. You will then get the chance to decorate and paint your creation with underglazes, all while sipping wine. Classes will be intimate and fun, with a max group size of 10. Wine and light snacks will be provided.
When: Sunday, July 16, 2-4:30pm
Where: Seattle Restored Collective Marketplace, 1503 5th Ave, Downtown Seattle (map)
Cost: $65. Iincludes materials to build and decorate your own vase. Pieces will be fired and glazed for you after the class and then ready for pick up in 3 weeks.
