Creating Texture with Watercolor Class at The Works

Whether you’ve been watercoloring for years or are total beginner, this class will help you add a little something extra to your paintings. With the help of a few unexpected kitchen items, you’ll be able to create unique textures that will make your watercolor come to life! Join The Works to learn how these techniques open new doors and explore the beautiful creations at your fingertips.
In this class you will learn:
-Watercolor techniques, including washes and wet on wet
-How to vary the amount of pigment used, layer colors, and accent areas using a dry brush
-How to incorporate texture into a watercolor composition
The Works keeps this class intentionally small so we can provide hands-on help every step of the way. Leave class with your finished painting, a full watercolor set, and a few pieces of watercolor paper to continue creating at home.

Cost: Choose from a BYO paints ticket for $60 or a ticket with a watercolor set included for you to take home for $75.
