Block Printing: Punny Valentine’s Boxes at The Works

Who doesn’t love a good pun? Join us in our latest series of themed block printing classes and take your Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day, or really any gift giving day to the next level. Create a personalized gift box using one of our punny love designs or create your own!
In this class you will learn:
-The basics of relief printing and how to transfer a design onto rubber block
-The difference between positive and negative space and a set of carving techniques to create your own custom stamp
-How to work with ink and a brayer to hand print your own set of pillow-style gift boxes
Create six custom gift boxes and browse our candy bar to choose your treasures to fill them up. Go home with your carved stamp (for future designs!), your candy, and the techniques to continue making, carving, and printing. Your boxes will need time to dry and we’ll mail them to you (at no additional charge) or schedule a time for you to come back and pick them up. The sky’s the limit on what you can design and gift!
