SEATTLE RECREATIVE (GEORGETOWN)

Please note that the Seattle Restored program does not provide you with hanging materials for your installation. Here are recommendations based on past-participants

  • Archival Linen Tape
  • Doubled Hooks
  • Screws and shelf hardware. Would avoid double-sided tape because of the temperature fluctuations
  • Regular hanging nails and heavy duty stapler

You can find below a non-exhaustive list of marketing strategies to pursue on your social media, but if you need additional support, please reach out to your Seattle Restored Lead:

  • Targeting specific/selective hashtags
  • Boosted ads

Event Insurance

Security

ACT Insurance offers affordable vendor and artist insurance with policies starting as low as $24.25/month. The Program has previously worked with ACT insurance to help participants secure general liability insurance for their art studios or pop-ups.

As a windowfront artist, while you are not required to hold general liability insurance, we strongly recommend you to hold personal/property theft insurance. Seattle Restored will not cover the cost of your art should it get damaged or stolen throughout the course of your installation. Theft insurance can be acquired for as little as $15/month from most insurance agencies.
