Please note that the Seattle Restored program does not provide you with hanging materials for your installation. Here are recommendations based on past-participants

  • Archival Linen Tape
  • Doubled Hooks
  • Screws and shelf hardware. Would avoid double-sided tape because of the temperature fluctuations
  • Regular hanging nails and heavy duty stapler

Event Insurance

ACT Insurance offers affordable vendor and artist insurance with policies starting as low as $24.25/month. The Program has previously worked with ACT insurance to help participants secure general liability insurance for their art studios or pop-ups.

As a windowfront artist, while you are not required to hold general liability insurance, we strongly recommend you to hold personal/property theft insurance. Seattle Restored will not cover the cost of your art should it get damaged or stolen throughout the course of your installation. Theft insurance can be acquired for as little as $15/month from most insurance agencies.

Therefore, we would like to direct you to a specific artist-curated mental health resources, compiled by the Artist Trust organization. This comprehensive list is specfically designed for Washington State artists.
