RMC Floral Designs: Participant Spotlight on Rosa Ma. Cisneros Andrade
Today we’re sitting down with Rosa Ma. Cisneros Andrade, owner of RMC Floral Designs. Through the Seattle Restored pop-up program, Rosa is looking to create an environment that reflects their core values: art, creativity, and authentic connection.
Q: Tell us about your business. What inspired your pop-up concept?
At RMC Floral Designs, we focus on creating meaningful and joyful moments through floral arrangements that celebrate beauty, life, harmony, and connection. Each design is handcrafted, often inspired by nature, the seasons, and the emotions that flowers evoke.
The inspiration behind our pop-up concept came from the desire to create a space created with different natural and man-made materials so that people would feel more connected to nature and feel and perceive that flowers are living beings that transmit energy. My goal is to connect more directly with our community, inviting people to immerse themselves in the colors, textures, and shapes of flowers, and observe the spirit of our work firsthand.

Imagine a welcoming, exciting, and slightly unexpected space: a place where people can experience our floral designs in new ways, creating and customizing each floral design according to each client’s needs. The temporary space allows me to be creative, showcase unique designs, collaborate with local farmers, and share the story behind each arrangement. In essence, the concept reflects our core values: art, creativity, and authentic connection.
Q: Why did you apply for Seattle Restored? how will this opportunity help you reach your goals?
I applied to Seattle Restored because I firmly believe in its mission to revitalize empty spaces and highlight local businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs. At first, I couldn’t believe it was real until I realized I had a great opportunity. For RMC Floral Designs, this opportunity represents the chance to bring our floral artistry from the studio to the community, transforming an empty space into a place full of color, creativity, and life.
As a growing floral design company, access to a physical space in Seattle, even temporarily, gives us the ability to connect with new clients, showcase our unique style in person, and share the stories and inspiration behind each arrangement. It also gives us the invaluable opportunity to explore the potential of a permanent retail presence while gathering real-time feedback and strengthening our local visibility.

In the long term, this opportunity will help me grow sustainably, collaborate with other creatives, and strengthen our presence in the community we love. Seattle Restored aligns perfectly with our vision, and I feel so fortunate that they were able to consider my business. RMC Floral Designs believes in using flowers not only to create beauty, but to spark joy, connection, and harmony in everyday life.
Q: What’s the most rewarding part of your business? how do you hope to impact the community?
The most rewarding thing about RMC Floral Designs is witnessing the joy and emotions our floral creations convey, whether it’s the smile of someone receiving a bouquet for the first time or the gratitude of a client whose event was enriched by our designs. Flowers have a unique power to express feelings that words cannot, and knowing that our arrangements can spark love, peace, and connection is what inspires our daily work.

Through RMC Floral Designs, we hope to positively impact the community by bringing more beauty and meaning to everyday life. By encouraging people to work with flowers in connection with their mental health. By offering floral design classes. Our vision is to make floral art accessible beyond special occasions: to create designs that celebrate both everyday moments and life’s milestones. We are committed to collaborating with local partners, supporting community events, and transforming spaces into experiences that uplift and inspire. By sharing our passion for floral art, we seek to strengthen connections, foster creativity, and bring harmony and joy to the Seattle community.
Q: Is there anything else you’d like our blog readers to know about you or your business?
We’d love for readers to know that RMC Floral Designs is built on creativity, connection, and community. Every floral design we create tells a story, inspired by nature, the seasons, and the emotions that flowers uniquely express. Our pop-up space is more than just a place to buy floral arrangements; it’s an experience designed to surprise, inspire, and beautify everyday life.
For us, artistic activation means transforming everyday spaces into meaningful ones, whether through floral installations, community collaborations, or designs that spark emotion and connection. We consider flowers a powerful form of creative expression, capable of bringing harmony, joy, and inspiration to the community.
If you visit our pop-up shop, we hope you leave not only with flowers, but also with a sense of wonder, peace, and renewed connection.

Q: Do you have any events or collaborations coming up?
Yes! At RMC Floral Designs, we’re preparing for our next Flower Workshop on September 4th. It will be an opportunity to teach people the meaning of colors in flowers and, at the same time, teach them how to create their own floral designs, creating community and sharing the joy that flowers bring. We would love for readers to join us and experience the creativity behind our designs by creating their own floral designs.
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to locals, what would it be?
My advice would be to embrace the beauty that surrounds us here in Seattle. Even in the busiest days, taking a moment to pause and appreciate nature—whether through a walk, fresh flowers, or seasonal colors—can bring balance and inspiration. At RMC Floral Designs, we believe these small details create a sense of harmony in both our personal and professional lives.

Q: What’s your favorite Seattle Restored activation, and why?
It’s hard to choose just one. What inspires us most about Seattle Restored is the variety of voices and creativity it brings to the city. Each pop-up, window art display, and residency carries a unique story, and together they transform familiar spaces into something vibrant and unexpected. As a floral design studio, we especially admire how these projects breathe new life into the community, reminding us that art and beauty can flourish anywhere when people come together.
Q: Where would you take visitors or a group of friends for a fun, relaxed experience in Seattle?
For a fun and relaxing experience in Seattle, I would take my friends to Pike Place Market. It’s an iconic space that perfectly represents the city, brimming with local artisans, delicious food, fresh flowers, and the energy of the community. From there, enjoying the waterfront views and a quiet stop at a nearby café makes for an inspiring and refreshing day, just like the spirit of Seattle.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most in the coming year?
In the coming year, I’m most looking forward to growing RMC Floral Designs in ways that create more connection and joy. Whether through new workshops, collaborations with local businesses, or bringing fresh floral designs to community events, my goal is to share beauty that inspires and uplifts. Flowers have a way of transforming spaces and moments, and I’m excited to keep finding creative ways to bring that magic to Seattle.
