From Alpaja Rajbhandari
Ekadesma is proud to be part of Seattle Restored, a platform that is making it possible for me to step into full-time entrepreneurship and bring my vision to life. This activation is not just about opening a store—it marks a historic moment as the first-ever Nepali brand with a Nepali name to have a dedicated retail space in Seattle.
With Seattle Restored’s support, I am finally able to pursue my passion full-time, sharing the artistry and craftsmanship of Nepal with a global audience.
This has been a lifelong dream, and I am beyond excited to create a space where people can experience the beauty of handwoven textiles, sustainable fashion, and traditional Nepali crafts firsthand. Ekadesma is more than a brand; it is a bridge between cultures, telling the stories of skilled artisans who have preserved these techniques for generations. Through this store, I hope to introduce Seattleites and beyond to the rich heritage of Nepali craftsmanship while fostering a deeper appreciation for slow, ethical fashion. This is just the beginning of a larger journey to establish Ekadesma in the U.S. market, and I am thrilled to take this first step with Seattle Restored.
